Hello!
My name is Dee McGowan-Douglas. I am 23 years of age, and I live in London.
I’d like to pretend that I’m a very serious artist lady, but I think I’d be exposed for a fraud very quickly, if I tried. What I really do is create slightly pretentious photographic twaddle. That’s not to say I think all of my work is without merit; I do (what I think is) a wonderful line of un-greetings cards, and pre-written letters. Also sometimes real art with paintings and very serious pictures. Not very often, though, I have a lot of trouble taking my self seriously for any length of time.
So anyway; I’m one of those real life starving artist types, and you should buy my work so that I can pay the rent and keep up my gin habit.
